Immunogen: A synthetic peptide from the internal part of rat TSG101 (Tumor susceptibility gene 101 protein) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The antigen is homologous in human and mouse.

Beschreibung: FUNCTION: Component of the ESCRT-I complex, a regulator of vesicular trafficking process. Required for the sorting of endocytic ubiquitinated cargos into multivesicular bodies. May be involved in cell growth and differentiation. Acts as a negative growth regulator. SUBUNIT: Component of ESCRT-I, endosomal sorting complex required for transport I, which consists of VPS28, VPS37, and TSG101. Interacts with VPS37A, VPS37B and VPS37C. Interacts with ubiquitin, stathmin, GMCL, DMAP1, HGS and AATF. Binds GGA1 and GGA3. Interacts with PDCD6IP/AIP1. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cytoplasm. Membrane; Peripheral membrane protein. Nucleus. Note: Mainly cytoplasmic. Membrane-associated when active and soluble when inactive. Depending on the stage of the cell cycle, detected in the nucleus. Also known as: Tumor susceptibility gene 101 protein.

Spezifität: Appears to be specific for TSG101.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: IHC, WB. A dilution of 1: 500 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.

Reinheit: whole serum

Lagerung: Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
