Produktbeschreibung
| Weitere Bezeichnung | TRPM4 (Melastatin-like 2) (c-terminal region) |
| Swiss-Prot | Q9ESQ5 |
| Immunogen | A synthetic peptide as a part of rat and mouse transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily M member 4 (TRPM4) conjugated to immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The antigen used is located in AA 1100-1180 of rat TRPM4. |
| Format | Lyophilized |
| Beschreibung | FUNCTION: Calcium-activated non selective (CAN) cation channel that mediates membrane depolarization. While it is activated by increase in intracellular Ca(2+), it is impermeable to it. Mediates transport of monovalent cations (Na(+) > K(+) > Cs(+) > Li(+)), leading to depolarize the membrane. It thereby plays a central role in cadiomyocytes, neurons from entorhinal cortex, dorsal root andvomeronasal neurons, endocrine pancreas cells, kidney epithelial cells, cochlea hair cells etc. Participates in T-cell activation by modulating Ca(2+) oscillations after T lymphocyte activation, which is required for NFAT-dependent IL2 production. Involved in myogenic constriction of cerebral arteries. Controls insulin secretion in pancreatic beta-cells. May also be involved in pacemaking or could cause irregular electrical activity under conditions of Ca(2+) overload. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. Also known as: Transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily M member 4, Long transient receptor potential channel 4, Calcium-activated non-selective cation channel 1, Melastatin-like 2, MLS2s. |
| Spezifität | Appears to be specific for TRPM4. |
Anwendungen
| Applikationshinweise | IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications. |
| Reinheit | whole serum |
| Lagerung | Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles. |
| Beschränkungen | Nur für Forschungszwecke einsetzbar |
