Produktbeschreibung

Weitere Bezeichnung trace amine-associated receptor 1 (TAAR1)
Swiss-Prot Q96RJ0
Immunogen A synthetic peptide from human TAAR1 conjugated to an immunogenic carrier Protein was used as the immunogen.
Format Lyophilized
Beschreibung FUNCTION: Receptor fortrace amines, including beta-phenylethylamine (b-PEA), p-tyramine (p-TYR), octopamine and tryptamine, with highest affinity for b-PEA and p-TYR. Unresponsive to classical biogenic amines, such as epinephrine and histamine and only partially activated by dopamine and serotonine.trace amines are biogenic amines present in very low levels in mammalian tissues. Although sometrace amines have clearly defined roles as neurotransmitters in invertebrates, the extent to which they function as true neurotransmitters in vertebrates has remained speculative.trace amines are likely to be involved in a variety of physiological functions that have yet to be fully understood. The signal transduced by this receptor is mediated by the G(s)-class of G-proteins which activate adenylate cyclase. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Detected in low levels in discrete regions within the central nervous system and in several peripheral tissues. Moderately expressed in stomach. Low levels in amygdala, kidney, and lung, and small intestin. Trace amounts in cerebellum, dorsal root ganglia, hippocampus, hypothalamus, liver, medulla, pancreas, pituitary, pontine reticular formation, prostate, skeletal muscle, and spleen. Also known as:trace amine receptor 1, TaR-1, TA1, TAR1, TRAR1.
Spezifität Appears to be specific for TAAR1.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise IHC, WB. A dilution of 1: 300 to 1: 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
Reinheit whole serum
Lagerung Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Beschränkungen Nur für Forschungszwecke einsetzbar
