Produktbeschreibung

Weitere Bezeichnung Synaptophysin (SYP) (internal region)
Swiss-Prot P07825
Immunogen A synthetic peptide from rat Synaptophysin (SYP) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The antigen is homologous in mouse.
Format Lyophilized
Beschreibung Synaptophysin (p38) is an integral membrane protein of small synaptic vesicles in brain and endocrine cells. FUNCTION: Possibly involved in structural functions as organizing other membrane components or in targeting the vesicles to the plasma membrane. SUBUNIT: Homohexamer or homotetramer. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cytoplasmic vesicle, secretory vesicle, synaptic vesicle membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. Also known as: SYP.
Spezifität Appears to be specific for Synaptophysin.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
Reinheit whole serum
Lagerung Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Beschränkungen Nur für Forschungszwecke einsetzbar
