Produktbeschreibung
| Weitere Bezeichnung | Sodium channel protein type 4 subunitalpha (SCN4A, Nav1.4) (n-terminal) |
| Swiss-Prot | Q9ER60 |
| Immunogen | A synthetic peptide from the n-terminal of mouse Sodium channel protein type 4 subunit alpha (SCN4A, Nav1.4) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The antigen is homologous in human and rat. |
| Format | Lyophilized |
| Beschreibung | FUNCTION: This protein mediates the voltage-dependent sodium ion permeability of excitable membranes. Assuming opened or closed conformations in response to the voltage difference across the membrane, the protein forms a sodium-selective channel through which Na+ ions may pass in accordance with their electrochemical gradient. This sodium channel may be present in both denervated and innervated skeletal muscle. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. Also known as: Sodium channel protein type IV subunit alpha, Voltage-gated sodium channel subunit alpha Nav1.4, Sodium channel protein skeletal muscle subunit alpha, SkM1, SCN4A. |
| Spezifität | Appears to be specific for SCN4A. |
Anwendungen
| Applikationshinweise | IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications. |
| Reinheit | whole serum |
| Lagerung | Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles. |
