Produktbeschreibung

Weitere Bezeichnung Sodium channel protein type 11 subunitalpha (SCN11A, Nav1.9) (internal region)
Swiss-Prot Q9R053
Immunogen A synthetic peptide from the internal region of mouse Sodium channel protein type 11 subunit alpha (SCN11A, Nav1.9) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen.
Format Lyophilized
Beschreibung FUNCTION: This protein mediates the voltage-dependent sodium ion permeability of excitable membranes. Assuming opened or closed conformations in response to the voltage difference across the membrane, the protein forms a sodium-selective channel through which sodium ions may pass in accordance with their electrochemical gradient. It is a tetrodotoxin-resistant sodium channel isoform. Also involved, with the contribution of the receptor tyrosine kinase NTRK2, in rapid BDNF-evoked neuronal depolarization. Tissue specificity: Expressed in the dorsal root ganglia and trigeminal ganglia, olfactory bulb, hippocampus, cerebellar cortex, spinal cord, spleen, small intestine and placenta. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. Also known as: Sodium channel protein type XI subunit alpha, Voltage-gated sodium channel subunit alpha Nav1.9, Sensory neuron sodium channel 2, Peripheral nerve sodium channel 5, hNaN, SCN11A, PN5, SCN12A, SNS2.
Spezifität Appears to be specific for SCN11A.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise IHC. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
Reinheit whole serum
Lagerung Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Beschränkungen Nur für Forschungszwecke einsetzbar
