Produktbeschreibung
| Weitere Bezeichnung | Sodium channel protein type 11 subunitalpha (SCN11A, Nav1.9) (internal region) |
| Swiss-Prot | Q9R053 |
| Immunogen | A synthetic peptide from the internal region of mouse Sodium channel protein type 11 subunit alpha (SCN11A, Nav1.9) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. |
| Format | Lyophilized |
| Beschreibung | FUNCTION: This protein mediates the voltage-dependent sodium ion permeability of excitable membranes. Assuming opened or closed conformations in response to the voltage difference across the membrane, the protein forms a sodium-selective channel through which sodium ions may pass in accordance with their electrochemical gradient. It is a tetrodotoxin-resistant sodium channel isoform. Also involved, with the contribution of the receptor tyrosine kinase NTRK2, in rapid BDNF-evoked neuronal depolarization. Tissue specificity: Expressed in the dorsal root ganglia and trigeminal ganglia, olfactory bulb, hippocampus, cerebellar cortex, spinal cord, spleen, small intestine and placenta. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. Also known as: Sodium channel protein type XI subunit alpha, Voltage-gated sodium channel subunit alpha Nav1.9, Sensory neuron sodium channel 2, Peripheral nerve sodium channel 5, hNaN, SCN11A, PN5, SCN12A, SNS2. |
| Spezifität | Appears to be specific for SCN11A. |
Anwendungen
| Applikationshinweise | IHC. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications. |
| Reinheit | whole serum |
| Lagerung | Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles. |
