Produktbeschreibung
| Weitere Bezeichnung | Rho-related GTP-binding protein RhoB (ARH6, ARHB, H6) |
| Swiss-Prot | P62745 |
| Immunogen | A synthetic peptide as a part of human, rat, mouse Rho-related GTP-binding protein RhoB (ARH6, ARHB, H6) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. |
| Format | Lyophilized |
| Beschreibung | FUNCTION: Mediates apoptosis in neoplastically transformed cells after DNA damage. Not essential for development but affects cell adhesion and growth factor signaling in transformed cells. Plays a negative role in tumorigenesis as deletion causes tumor formation. Involved in intracellular protein trafficking of a number of proteins. Targets PKN1 to endosomes and is involved in trafficking of the EGF receptor from late endosomes to lysosomes. Also required for stability and nuclear trafficking of AKT1/AKT which promotes endothelial cell survival during vascular development. SUBUNIT: Binds ROCK1 and ROCK2. Also binds PKN1/PRK1. Interacts with ARHGEF3 and AKAP13. Interacts with RTKN. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Late endosome membrane; Lipid-anchor. Cell membrane; Lipid-anchor. Nucleus. Note=Late endosomal membrane (geranylgeranylated form). Plasma membrane (farnesylated form). Also detected at the nuclear margin and in the nucleus. INDUCTION: By UV irradiation, N-methyl-N-nitrosourea, cisplatin, cyclohexamide and serum stimulation. Also known as: H6, ARH6, ARHB, RHOH6. |
| Spezifität | Appears to be specific for RhOB. |
Anwendungen
| Applikationshinweise | IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. |
| Reinheit | whole serum |
| Lagerung | Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles. |
| Beschränkungen | Nur für Forschungszwecke einsetzbar |
