Produktbeschreibung

Weitere Bezeichnung p75NTR (low affinity NGF receptor, MC192)
Swiss-Prot P07174
Immunogen Nerve growth factor receptor (TNFR superfamily, member 16)
Format Lyophilized
Isotyp IgG1  (Passende Sekundärantikörper)
Beschreibung FUNCTION: Low affinity receptor which can bind to NGF, BDNF, NT-3, and NT-4. Can mediate cell survival as well as cell death of neural cells. SUBUNIT: Homodimer; disulfide-linked. Interacts with p75NTR-associated cell death executor. Interacts with NGFRAP1/BEX3. Interacts with TRAF2, TRAF4, TRAF6, PTPN13 and RANBP9. Interacts through TRAF6 with SQSTM1 which bridges NGFR to NTRK1. Interacts with BEX1. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein. Also known as: TNR16, low-affinity nerve growth factor receptor, NGF receptor, Gp80-LNGFR, p75 ICD, low affinity neurotrophin receptor p75NTR, Tnfrsf16, Ngfr, p75, LNGFR, RNNGFRR.
Spezifität Appears to be specific for rat p75NTR.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise WB, IHC, ELISA. A working concentration of 5-15 µg/ml is recommended. This antibody is suitable for use in paraformaldehyde fixed, alcohol fixed and paraffin-embedded sections. The optimal working solution should be determined by the end user.
Lagerung Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Beschränkungen Nur für Forschungszwecke einsetzbar
