Produktbeschreibung

Weitere Bezeichnung OPSG and OPSR (greenred-sensitive opsin opsin 1, M opsin)
Swiss-Prot P04001
Immunogen A synthetic peptide from human OPSG and OPSR (green & red-sensitive opsin, OPN1MW, OPN1LW, GCP, RCP, CBBM, opsin 1) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen.
Format Lyophilized
Beschreibung FUNCTION: Visual pigments are the light-absorbing molecules that mediate vision. They consist of an apoprotein, opsin, covalently linked to cis-retinal. BIOPHYSICOCHEMICAL PROPERTIES: Absorption:       Abs(max)=530 nm; SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. TISSUE SPECIFICITY: The three color pigments are found in the cone photoreceptor cells. PTM: Phosphorylated on some or all of the serine and threonine residues present in the C-terminal region. DISEASE: Defects in OPN1MW are the cause of partial colorblindness deutan series (CBD); also called deuteranopia. Also known as: Green-sensitive opsin, green cone photoreceptor pigment, OPN1MW, OPN1LW, GCP, RCP, CBBM, OPN1MW1, opsin 1 (cone pigments), medium-wave-sensitive (color blindness, deutan), red-sensitive opsin, red cone photoreceptor pigment, M opsin.
Spezifität Appears to be specific for OPSG and OPSR.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
Reinheit whole serum
Lagerung Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Beschränkungen Nur für Forschungszwecke einsetzbar
