Produktbeschreibung
| Weitere Bezeichnung | KCNN4 (SK4) (c-terminal region) |
| Swiss-Prot | O15554 |
| Immunogen | A synthetic peptide from the c-terminal region of human KCNN4 (SK4) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The antigen is homologous in rat and mouse. |
| Format | Lyophilized |
| Beschreibung | Function: Forms a voltage-independent potassium channel that is activated by intracellular calcium. Activation is followed by membrane hyperpolarization which promotes calcium influx. The channel is blocked by clotrimazole and charybdotoxin but is insensitive to apamin. Subcellular location: Membrane, Multi-pass membrane protein. Tissue specificity: Widely expressed in non-excitable tissues. Also known as: Intermediate conductance calcium-activated potassium channel protein 4, SK4, KCa4, IKCa1, IK1, IK1, IKCA1, KCA4, SK4. |
| Spezifität | Appears to be specific for KCNN4. |
Anwendungen
| Applikationshinweise | IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications. |
| Reinheit | whole serum |
| Lagerung | Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles. |
