Produktbeschreibung

Weitere Bezeichnung KCNK5 (TASK2) (c-terminal region)
Swiss-Prot O95279
Immunogen A synthetic peptide from the c-terminal region of human KCNK5 (TASK2) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen.
Format Lyophilized
Beschreibung Function: pH-dependent, voltage insensitive, outwardly rectifying potassium channel. Outward rectification is lost at high external K+ concentrations. Inhibited by quinine, quinidine and external acidification. Tissue specificity: Abundant expression in kidney, also detected in liver, placenta and small intestine. In the kidney, expression is restricted to the distal tubules and collecting ducts. Not expressed in proximal tubules or glomeruli. Subcellular location: Membrane, Multi-pass membrane protein. Also known as: Potassium channel subfamily K member 5, Acid-sensitive potassium channel protein TASK-2, TWIK-related acid-sensitive K(+) channel 2, KCNK5, TASK2.
Spezifität Appears to be specific for KCNK5.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
Reinheit whole serum
Lagerung Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Beschränkungen Nur für Forschungszwecke einsetzbar
