Beschreibung FUNCTION: Inward rectifier potassium channels are characterized by a greater tendency to allow potassium to flow into the cell rather than out of it. Their voltage dependence is regulated by the concentration of extracellular potassium; as external potassium is raised, the voltage range of the channel opening shifts to more positive voltages. The inward rectification is mainly due to the blockage of outward current by internal magnesium. Subcellular location: Membrane, Multi-pass membrane protein. Also known as: ATP-sensitive inward rectifier potassium channel 15, Potassium channel, inwardly rectifying subfamily J member 15, Inward rectifier K(+) channel Kir4.2, KCNJ14, Kir4.2.
Spezifität Appears to be specific for KCNJ15.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
Reinheit whole serum
Lagerung Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
