Produktbeschreibung
| Weitere Bezeichnung | HCN1 (cytoplasmic region) |
| Swiss-Prot | O60741 |
| Immunogen | A synthetic peptide from cytoplasmic region of human HCN1 conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The antigen is homologous in many species including mouse and rat. |
| Format | Lyophilized |
| Beschreibung | FUNCTION: Hyperpolarization-activated ion channel exhibiting weak selectivity for potassium over sodium ions. Contributes to the native pacemaker currents in heart (If) and in neurons (Ih). Activated by cAMP, and at 10-100 times higher concentrations, also by cGMP. May mediate responses to sour stimuli. SUBUNIT: The potassium channel is probably composed of a homo- or heterotetrameric complex of pore-forming subunits. Heteromultimer with HCN2. Interacts with KCNE2. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Detected in brain, in particular in amygdala and hippocampus, while expression in caudate nucleus, corpus callosum, substantia nigra, subthalamic nucleus and thalamus is very low or not detectable. Detected at very low levels in muscle and pancreas. DOMAIN: The segment S4 is probably the voltage-sensor and is characterized by a series of positively charged amino acids at every third position. Also known as: Brain cyclic nucleotide-gated channel 1, BCNG-1, BCNG1, HAC-2, potassium/sodium hyperpolarization-activated cyclic nucleotide-gated channel 1. |
| Spezifität | Appears to be specific for HCN1. |
Anwendungen
| Applikationshinweise | IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications. |
| Reinheit | whole serum |
| Lagerung | Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles. |
