Produktbeschreibung

Weitere Bezeichnung cFos (c-fos)
Swiss-Prot P01100
Immunogen A synthetic peptide from human cFos protein conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein has been used as the immunogen. The antigen is homologous in many species including rat, mouse, hamster and cat.
Format Lyophilized
Isotyp IgG  (Passende Sekundärantikörper)
Beschreibung FUNCTION: Nuclear phosphoprotein which forms a tight but non-covalently linked complex with the JUN/AP-1 transcription factor. Has a critical function in regulating the development of cells destined to form and maintain the skeleton. It is thought to have an important role in signal transduction, cell proliferation and differentiation. SUBUNIT: Heterodimer. Interacts with DSIPI; this interaction inhibits the binding of active AP1 to its target DNA. Interacts with MAFB SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Nucleus. INDUCTION: C-fos expression increases upon a variety of stimuli, including growth factors, cytokines, neurotransmitters, polypeptide hormones, stress and cell injury. SIMILARITY: Belongs to the bZIP family. Fos subfamily SIMILARITY: Contains 1 bZIP domain Also known as: Proto-oncogene protein cFOS.
Spezifität Appears to be specific for cFos.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise IHC, WB. Use at a concentration of 10-50 µg/ml. The optimal working concentration should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
Reinheit IgG
Lagerung Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Beschränkungen Nur für Forschungszwecke einsetzbar
