Immunogen: A synthetic peptide from the c-terminal of human beta, gamma, kappa Actin (ACTB, ACTG, ACTK) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The peptide is homologous in many species including rat, mouse, zebra fish and xenopus.

Beschreibung: FUNCTION: Actins are highly conserved proteins that are involved in various types of cell motility and are ubiquitously expressed in all eukaryotic cells. SUBUNIT: Polymerization of globular actin (G-actin) leads to a structural filament (F-actin) in the form of a two-stranded helix. Each actin can bind to 4 others. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton. Also known as: ACTB, ACTG, ACTK.

Spezifität: Appears to be specific for Actin.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: IHC, WB. A dilution of 1: 300 to 1: 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.

Reinheit: whole serum

Lagerung: Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
