Produktbeschreibung

Weitere Bezeichnung amiloride sensitive cation channel 1, neuronal (ACCN1, ASIC2) (c-terminal region)
Swiss-Prot Q16515
Immunogen A synthetic peptide from the cytoplasmic domain of human amiloride sensitive cation channel 1, neuronal (ACCN1, ASIC2) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The antigen is homologous in monkey. The antigen shares 95% identity with mouse's and rat's.
Format Lyophilized
Beschreibung FUNCTION: Cation channel with high affinity for sodium, which is gated by extracellular protons and inhibited by the diuretic amiloride. Also permeable for Li(+) and K(+). Generates a biphasic current with a fast inactivating and a slow sustained phase. Heteromeric channel assembly seems to modulate. SUBUNIT: Homotetramer or heterotetramer with other ASIC proteins (Probable). Interacts with STOM. Interacts with PRKCABP and ACCN3. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. Note: Localized at the plasma membrane of neurons, in the soma and punctated peripheral processes. Also known as: Amiloride-sensitive brain sodium channel, acid-sensing ion channel 2, ASIC2, brain sodium channel 1, BNaC1, BNC1, mammalian degenerin homolog, ACCN, BNAC1, MDEG.
Spezifität Appears to be specific for ACCN1.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
Reinheit whole serum
Lagerung Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Beschränkungen Nur für Forschungszwecke einsetzbar
