Produktbeschreibung
| Weitere Bezeichnung | 5HT3A receptor (5-HT3R, 5-HT-3, Serotonin receptor 3A) (1t extracellular domain) |
| Swiss-Prot | P23979 |
| Immunogen | A synthetic peptide from the 1t extracellular domain of mouse 5HT3A receptor (5-HT3R, 5-HT-3, Serotonin receptor 3A) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The antigen shares 86% identity with rat sequence. |
| Format | Lyophilized |
| Beschreibung | FUNCTION: This is one of the several different receptors for 5-hydroxytryptamine (serotonin), a biogenic hormone that functions as a neurotransmitter, a hormone, and a mitogen. This receptor is a ligand-gated ion channel, which when activated causes fast, depolarizing responses in neurons. It is a cation-specific, but otherwise relatively nonselective, ion channel. Subcellular location: Cell junction › synapse › postsynaptic cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. Tissue specificity: Expressed in central and peripheral neurons. Induction: By nerve growth factor in PC12 cells. Also known as: 5-HT3R, 5-HT-3, Serotonin receptor 3A, Htr3a, 5ht3, Htr3, Serotonin gated ion channel receptor. |
| Spezifität | Appears to be specific for 5HT3A receptor. |
Anwendungen
| Applikationshinweise | IHC, WB. A dilution of 1: 300 to 1: 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications. |
| Reinheit | whole serum |
| Lagerung | Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles. |
