Beschreibung Autophagy is the process by which endogenous proteins and damaged organelles are destroyed intracellularly.autophagy is postulated to be essential for cell homeostasis and cell remodeling during differentiation, metamorphosis, non-apoptotic cell death, and aging. Reduced levels ofautophagy have been described in some malignant tumors, and a role forautophagy in controlling the unregulated cell growth linked to cancer has been proposed. Involved in intra-Golgi traffic. Modulates intra-Golgi transport through coupling between NSF activity and SNAREs activation. It first stimulates the ATPase activity of NSF which in turn stimulates the association withGOSR1. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Golgi apparatus. TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Ubiquitous. Expressed at high levels in the brain, heart, prostate, ovary, spleen and skeletal muscle. Expressed at very low levels in lung, thymus and small intestine. Also known as: FLC3A, GABARAPL2, ATG8, GEF2, GEF-2, GATE16, GATE-16, Gamma-aminobutyric acid receptor-associated protein-like 2, GABA(A) receptor-associated protein-like 2, Ganglioside expression factor 2, General protein transport factor p16, MAP1 light chain 3-related protein.
Spezifität Appears to be specific for GABARAPL2.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise IHC, WB. Use at a dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
Reinheit whole serum
Lagerung Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
