Beschreibung: Carcinoembryonic antigen is a complex immunoreactive glycoprotein with a molecular weight of 180,000 comprising 60% carbohydrate. It is found in adenocarcinomas of endodermally derived digestive system epithelia and in fetal colon.Carcinoembryonic antigen is one of the most widely used tumor markers in serum immunoassay determinations of carcinoma.

Spezifität: Human. No cross reactivity with other proteins.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Western blotting: At 0.5-1 µg/ml with the appropriate system to detect CEA in cells and tissues. Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Sections): At 0.5-2 µg/ml to detect CEA in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded tissues. Other applications have not been tested. Optimal dilutions should be determined by end user.

Buffer: Lyophilized from 1.2% sodium acetate, with 2mg BSA and 0.2mg NaN3 as preservative.

Lagerung: At -20°C for one year. After reconstitution, at 4°C for three month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for longer time. Reconstitution: 1.2% sodium acetate or neutral PBS. If 1ml of PBS is used, the antibody concentration will be 100µg/ml.

Beschränkungen: Nur für Forschungszwecke einsetzbar
