Beschreibung: Collagen IV is comprised of a third chain (alpha-3) together with the 2 classical ones, alpha-1 and alpha-2. COL4A3 gene is localized to 2q36-q37 by analysis of somatic cell hybrids and by in situ hybridization. The alpha-3 chain of type IV collagen induces autoimmune Goodpasture syndrome. Mutations in the COL4A4 and COL4A3 genes cause familial benign hematuria.

Spezifität: Human, rat. No cross reactivity with other proteins.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Sections): At 0.5-1 µg/ml to detect collagen type IV in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded tissues. Immunohistochemistry(F) At 0.5-1 µg/ml to detect collagen type IV in formalin or acetone fixed tissues. Other applications have not been tested. Optimal dilutions should be determined by end user.

Buffer: Lyophilized from 1.2% sodium acetate, with 2mg BSA and 0.2mg NaN3 as preservative.

Lagerung: At -20°C for one year. After reconstitution, at 4°C for three month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for longer time. Reconstitution: 1.2% sodium acetate or neutral PBS. If 1ml of PBS is used, the antibody concentration will be 100µg/ml.
