Beschreibung: Filensin, also knows as beaded filament structure protein 1, have two major component BFSP1 and BESP2. Filensin gene is mapped at 20p12.1-p11.23. The sequence of the predicted 665-amino acid human protein is 62% and 50% identical to those of bovine and chicken filensin, respectively. However, it has less than 26% identity to other members of the intermediate filament (IF) family.

Spezifität: Human. No cross reactivity with other proteins.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Western blotting: At 1-2 µg/ml with the appropriate system to detect filensin in cells and tissues. Immunohistochemistry(F) At 2-4 µg/ml to detect filensin in formalin or acetone fixed tissues. Other applications have not been tested. Optimal dilutions should be determined by end user.

Buffer: Lyophilized from 1.2% sodium acetate, with 2mg BSA and 0.2mg NaN3 as preservative.

Lagerung: At -20°C for one year. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for longer time. Reconstitution: 1.2% sodium acetate or neutral PBS. If 1ml of PBS is used, the antibody concentration will be 100µg/ml.
