Beschreibung: GAP43 is expressed by developing and regenerating neurons, and to a lesser extent, reactive glial cells. It is used widely to specifically label injured neurons and to score neuronal regeneration. GAP43 is also a neuronal growth cone protein thought to be involved in pathfinding. GAP43 is considered to be a crucial component of an effective regenerative response in the nervous system.

Spezifität: Human, mouse, rat, chicken, snake No cross reactivity with other proteins.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Western blotting: At 0.5-1 µg/ml with the appropriate system to detect GAP43 in cells and tissues. Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Sections): At 1-2 µg/ml to detect GAP43 in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded tissues. Immunohistochemistry(F) At 1-2 µg/ml to detect GAP43 in formalin or acetone fixed tissues. Other applications have not been tested. Optimal dilutions should be determined by end user.

Buffer: Lyophilized from 1.2% sodium acetate, with 2mg BSA and 0.2mg NaN3 as preservative.

Lagerung: At -20°C for one year. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for longer time. Reconstitution: 1.2% sodium acetate or neutral PBS. If 1ml of PBS is used, the antibody concentration will be 100µg/ml.
