Beschreibung: Myosin is composed of 2 heavy chains of about 200,000 daltons each and 4 light chains of about 20,000 daltons each. Southern blots of a panel of hybrids containing different portions of human chromosome 16 localized the gene to 16p13.13-p13.12.

Spezifität: Human, rat. No cross reactivity with other proteins.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Western blotting: At 0.25-0.5 µg/ml with the appropriate system to detect myosin(smooth) in cells and tissues. Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Sections): At 0.5-1 µg/ml to detect myosin(smooth) in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded tissues. Immunohistochemistry(F) At 0.5-1 µg/ml to detect myosin(smooth) in formalin or acetone fixed tissues. Immunocytochemistry suitable Other applications have not been tested. Optimal dilutions should be determined by end user.

Buffer: Lyophilized from 1.2% sodium acetate, with 2mg BSA and 0.2mg NaN3 as preservative.

Lagerung: At -20°C for one year. After reconstitution, at 4°C for three month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for longer time. Reconstitution: 1.2% sodium acetate or neutral PBS. If 1ml of PBS is used, the antibody concentration will be 100µg/ml.
