Beschreibung: The tenascins are a family of extracellular matrix proteins (ECMs). Tenascin is an extracellular matrix protein. It expressed in an unusually restricted pattern during embryogenesis and has been implicated in a variety of morphogenetic phenomena. Human hexabrachion gene(tenascin) is mapped to chromosome 9, bands q32-q34. The coding region of the hexabrachion gene spans approximately 80 kilobases of DNA and consists of 27 exons separated by 26 introns.

Spezifität: Human. No cross reactivity with other proteins.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Western blotting: At 1-2µg/ml with the appropriate system to detect tenascin in cells and tissues. Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Sections): At 2-4µg/ml to detect tenascin in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded tissues. Immunohistochemistry(F) At 2-4µg/ml to detect tenascin in formalin or acetone fixed tissues. Immunocytochemistry Suitable Other applications have not been tested. Optimal dilutions should be determined by end user.

Buffer: Lyophilized from 1.2% sodium acetate, with 2mg BSA and 0.2mg NaN3 as preservative.

Lagerung: At -20°C for one year. After reconstitution, at 4°C for three month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for longer time. Reconstitution: 1.2% sodium acetate or neutral PBS. If 1ml of PBS is used, the antibody concentration will be 100µg/ml.
