Beschreibung: Tryptophan hydroxylase is the rate-limiting enzyme in the synthesis of serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine, or 5HT). Tryptophan hydroxylase\atalyzes the biopterin-dependent monooxygenation of tryptophan to5-hydroxytryptophan (5HT), which is subsequently decarboxylated to form the neurotransmitter serotonin. Human tryptophan hydroxylase (TPH) is mapped to chromosome 11p15.3-p14 by in situ hybridization.

Spezifität: Human, rat, rabbit. No cross reactivity with other proteins.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Western blotting: At0.5-1µg/ml with the appropriate system to detect tryptophan hydroxylase in cells and tissues. Other applications have not been tested. Optimal dilutions should be determined by end user.

Buffer: Lyophilized from 1.2% sodium acetate, with 2mg BSA and 0.2mg NaN3 as preservative.

Lagerung: At -20°C for one year. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for longer time. Reconstitution: 1.2% sodium acetate or neutral PBS. If 1ml of PBS is used, the antibody concentration will be 100µg/ml.
