Immunogen: A peptide mapping at the C-terminal end of human P73alpha, differs from the related rat sequence by single amino acid.

Beschreibung: P73 is a substrate of the c-Abl kinase and that the ability of c-Abl to phosphorylate p73 is markedly increased by gamma-irradiation. Moreover, p73 was phosphorylated in vivo in response to ionizing radiation. p73, a member of the p53 family of tumour-suppressor proteins, can also induce apoptosis. p73 gene is mapped to chromosome 1p36. p73 is regulated by tyrosine kinase c-Abl in the apoptotic response to DNA damage.

Spezifität: Human, mouse, rat. No cross reactivity with other proteins.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Western blotting: At 1-2u/ml with the appropriate system to detect P73alphain cells and tissues. Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Sections): At 1-2u/ml to detect P73alphain formalin fixed and paraffin embedded tissues. Boiling the sections is required. Other applications have not been tested. Optimal dilutions should be determined by end user.

Reinheit: Immunogen affinity purified.

Buffer: Each vial contains 50% glycerol, 0.9mg NaCl, 0.2mg Na 2 HPO 4 .

Lagerung: At -20°C for one year. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for longer time. Reconstitution: 1.2% sodium acetate or neutral PBS. If 0.5ml of PBS is used, the antibody concentration will be 100ug/ml.
