| Beschreibung | CCR5 is the major coreceptor for macrophagetropic isolates of HIV1. CCR5, also known as CD195, is a seven transmembrane chemokine receptor capable of binding RANTES, MIP1alpha and MIP1beta. Knockout mice show a decreased recruitment of macrophages and increased susceptibility to infection. Protein and mRNA has been found in macrophages from thioglycolatetreated and activated T cells. The HMCCR5(7A4) monoclonal antibody binds the N terminal extracellular domain of mouse CCR5. |
Anwendungen
| Applikationshinweise | This HMCCR5 (7A4) antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of transfected cells. This can be used at less than or equal to 1 ug per million cells in a 100 ul total staining volume. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. |
