Beschreibung: CTLA-4 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and encodes a protein which transmits an inhibitory signal to T cells. The protein contains a V domain, a transmembrane domain, and a cytoplasmic tail. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized. The membrane-bound isoform functions as a homodimer interconnected by a disulfide bond, while the soluble isoform functions as a monomer. Mutations in this gene have been associated with insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, Graves disease, Hashimoto thyroiditis, celiac disease, systemic lupus erythematosus, thyroid-associated orbitopathy, and other autoimmune diseases. Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Blocking and staining antibody. For staining, use 10 ul/106 cells. Titer for blocking CTLA-4 function should be determined by the investigator. Available Conjugates: This antibody is only available as purified antibody.

Lagerung: Storage: Lyophilized: store at 4°C. After reconstitution, if not intended for use within a month, aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstitution: Reconstitute with of H20. Mix gently, wash the sides of the vial and wait 30-60 seconds before use. Stability / Shelf Life: Two years lyophilized, one month in solution at 4°C.
