It is a protein that is released in large amounts from platelets following their activation. It stimulates various processes including mitogenesis, synthesis of extracellular matrix, glucose metabolism and synthesis of plasminogen activator. Applikationshinweise: In direct ELISA, using alkaline phosphatase goat anti-mouse Ig (Jackson Laboratories) 1:10,000 dilution will yield 0.5 O.D within 10 minutes
