Beschreibung: Active IL-12 is a p70 disulphide-linked dimer composed of p35 and p40 subunits. The protein is a pleiotropic cytokine produced primarily by antigen presenting cells and has multiple effects on T lymphocytes and natural killer cells in terms of stimulating cytotoxicity, proliferation, production of other cytokines and Th1 subset differentiation. Synonyms: NKSF2, CTL maturation factor (TCMF), Cytotoxic lymphocyte maturation factor 40 kDa subunit (CLMF p40), TSF, Edodekin-alpha, IL-12 p40, IL-12B, IL-12 subunit p40, NK cell stimulatory factor chain 2.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: By direct ELISA, 1:5,000 dilution will yield 0.5 O.D using alkaline phosphatase conjugated rabbit anti-mouse Ig (Jackson Laboratories).

Lagerung: Shipping Condition: Antibody is shipped lyophilized at ambient temperature. Storage: In lyophilized form, for long periods, store at 4°C in a dry environment. After reconstitution, if not intended for use within a month, aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstitution: Reconstitute with sterile H20. Mix gently, wash the sides of the vial and wait 30-60 seconds before use. Stability / Shelf Life: Two years lyophilized, one month in solution at 4°C.
