Beschreibung: Rab3 proteins are expressed in high levels in the brain and endocrine tissues but are alsofound elsewhere. They are localised on exocytic vesicles and in the brain they cycle on andoff synaptic vesicles in parallel with the release of neurotransmitters. Many functions havebeen proposed for the Rab3 proteins, from fusion to docking and the biogenesis ofvesicles. They are thought to play an important role in presynaptic vesicle trafficking andpriming.

Spezifität: This antibody recognises Rab3, a group of closely related GTP-binding proteins (Rab3A,Rab3B, Rab3C and Rab3D) involved in regulating membrane traffic. Species: Rat. Others not tested.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Western Blot: 1: 1000, detects a band of approximately 27kDa in rat cortex lysate. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Buffer: 10mM HEPES pH7.5, 150mM NaCl containing 0.09% Sodium Azide, 0.01%Bovine Serum Albumin, 50% Glycerol

Lagerung: Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch.
