Beschreibung
|
Angiotensin II is formed by cleavage of the terminal two amino acid residues ofAngiotensin I by ACE (Angiotensin-converting enzyme). It is mainly found in lung capillarieswhere it increases blood pressure, before being degraded to Angiotensin III by cleavage ofthe N-terminal aspartic acid residue.

This antibody is specific for Angiotensin II, and shows the following cross-reactivities withother forms of Angiotensin: Angiotensin III: 75%Angiotensin I: 20%Species: Human. Others not tested.
