Beschreibung The DRD3 Dopamine Receptor is expressed in brain regions associated with cognitive,emotional, and endocrine functions. DRD3 mediates the effects of drugs used in thetreatment of schizophrenia and Parkinson's disease. DRD3 also binds BP897, a potentinhibitor of drug-craving and cocaine-seeking behaviors. Mutations in DRD3 lead tosodium retention in the kidney, resulting in hypertension and increased locomotoractivity in mice. Multiple isoforms of DRD3 are produced by alternative splicing. Alternate Names: anti-DRD3 antibody, D antibody, D3DR antibody, ETM1 antibody, FET1 antibody.
