Beschreibung CD9 is a 24 kDa type IV transmembrane glycoprotein with four transmembranedomains. CD9 on pre-B cells may play a role in cell-cell adhesion. In addition, CD9 mayplay a role in signal transduction mediated by interaction with low molecular weight GTPbinding proteins. CD9 is expressed on early B cells, eosinophils, basophils andactivated T cells and is a major component of the platelet cell surface. It is alsoexpressed on most non-T acute lymphoblastic leukemia cells and on some acutemyeloid and chronic lymphoid leukemias.
Spezifität CD9 (Y129) antibody detects endogenous levels of CD9 protein. Species Reactivity: This antibody is reactive against Human, Mouse, Rat.
