Beschreibung: The eukaryotic translation initiation factor-3 (eIF3) is a 700 kD complex comprised of at least 13 subunits, includingeIF3J, which is essential for translation. eIF3 directly binds to the 40S ribosomal subunit and promotes the formationof the 40S preinitiation complex by promoting the binding of methionyl-tRNA and mRNA. eIF3J is thought to functionin part by regulating access of the mRNA-binding cleft in response to initiation factor binding. Poly6384 is useful forwestern blot applications.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by Western blotting. Westernblotting, suggested working dilution(s): Use 10 ul per 5 ml antibody dilutionbuffer for each mini-gel. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated foroptimal performance for each application.
