Beschreibung: ASK1 (apoptosis signal-regulating kinase 1, also known as mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 5) is a 155kD member of the serine/threonine family of protein kinases. This kinase is abundantly expressed in the heart andpancreas and is expressed at lower levels in a variety of tissues. ASK1 phosphorylates and activates MKK4, andMKK6 MAP kinase kinases. Overexpression of ASK1 has been shown to induce apoptosis, ASK1 is increased byTNF-alpha and inhibited by IGF-IR signaling. This kinase has been shown to interact with Daxx, 14-3-3 protein, andinsulin-like growth factor receptor (IGF-IR) and to be modified by phosphorylation. The Poly6325 antibody has beenshown to be useful for immunofluorescence microscopy of the human ASK1 protein.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescence staining. For immunofluorescencemicroscopy: Use a dilution range of 1:100~1:400. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimalperformance for each application.

Reinigung: The antibody was purified by antigen-affinity chromatography.

Buffer: This antibody is provided in phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
