| Beschreibung | IL-5 is a homodimeric, disulphide-linked protein produced by T-cells. Monomeric human IL-5 is a 126 amino acidprotein with a reported molecular weight of 26 kD for the homodimeric protein. Mouse and human IL-5 areapproximately 70% identical. IL-5 has been shown to promote the growth of immature hematopoietic BFU-Eprogenitors, stimulate the activation and differentiation of eosinophils, and promote the generation of cytotoxiclymphocytes. The JES1-39D10 antibody can neutralize the bioactivity of natural or recombinant IL-5. |
Anwendungen
| Applikationshinweise | For use as an ELISA detection antibody, a concentration range of 0.25-1.0 ug/ml is recommended. To obtain a linearstandard curve, serial dilutions of IL-5 recombinant protein ranging from 500 to 4 pg/ml are recommended for eachELISA plate. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. ELISA1-3 or ELISPOT4-6 Detection: The biotinylated JES1-5A10 antibody is useful as a detection antibody for asandwich ELISA or ELISPOT assay, when used in conjunction with purified JES1-39D10 (Cat. No. 500902/500907)or TRFK5 (Cat. No. 504302/504308) antibody as the capture antibody. Flow Cytometry7: The fluorochrome-labelled JES1-5A10 antibody is useful for intracellular immunofluorescentstaining and flow cytometric analysis to identify IL-5 -producing cells within mixed cell populations.
