Beschreibung
|
IL-1 refers to two proteins, IL-1alpha and IL-1beta which are the products of distinct genes, but which are recognized by thesame cell surface receptors. IL-1alpha is a potent immuno-modulator which mediates a wide range of immune andinflammatory responses. The biotinylated BL1a-89 antibody is useful as a detection antibody for a sandwich ELISA orELISPOT assay when used in conjunction with the purified BL1a-72 antibody as capture antibody and recombinantmouse IL-1alpha?(Cat. No. 562801) as the standard.

Applikationshinweise
|
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by ELISA assay. For use as an ELISA detection antibody, aconcentration range of 0.05-0.2 ug/ml is recommended. To obtain a linear standard curve, serial dilutions of mouseIL-1alpha recobinant protein ranging from 250 to 4 pg/ml are recommended for each ELISA plate. For Western Blotting applications, it is suggested to use 5 ug antibody per 5 ml antibody dilution buffer for each mini-gel. It isrecommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated with biotin under optimal conditions. Thesolution is free of unconjugated biotin.
