Beschreibung: Toll-like receptors (TLRs) are type I transmembrane signaling receptors characterized by containing leucine-richrepeats (LRR) extracellular domain and IL-1 receptor like intracellular domain. TLRs are responsible for recognizingpathogen-associated molecule patterns (PAMPs). They are primary sensors of both innate and adaptive immunesystems. To date a total of 12 TLRs have been identified. Toll-like receptor 6 (TLR6), known as CD286, is one of theimportant receptors. TLR6 is colocalized with TLR2 on the cell surface of monocytes/macrophages, dendritic cells,granulocytes. The TLR2/TLR6 complex plays a role in the innate immune response to diacylated lipoprotein andpeptidoglycan antigens.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescentstaining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, thesuggested use of this reagent is approx. 2.0 ug per 106 cells in 100 ul volume. It isrecommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for eachapplication. Additional reported applications include: blocks cytokine production induced by MALP-2 and peptidoglycan(1)

Reinigung: The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated withbiotin under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated biotinand unconjugated antibody.

Buffer: Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide.

Lagerung: The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4 degrees C. Do not freeze.
