Beschreibung: CD104 is a 205 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein, known as integrin beta4 chain or beta4 integrin, that associateswith integrin alpha6 (CD49f) forms alpha6/beta4 (CD49f/CD104) heterodimer. CD104 is expressed on epithelial cells (especiallyon the proliferative basal layer epithelial cells in skin), endothelial cells, Schwann cells, certain tumor cells and asubset of pre-T cells. CD49f/CD104 is an adhesion receptor for laminins (especially laminin 5) and keratin filamentsand is involved in the regulation of hemidesmosome formation and of cell proliferation and activation.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescentstaining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, thesuggested use of this reagent is approx. 1.0 ug per 106 cells in 100 ul volume or100 ul of whole blood. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated foroptimal performance for each application. Additional reported (for the relevant formats) applications include: immunohistochemical staining of acetone-fixedfrozen sections, immunoprecipitation, and ELISA.

Reinigung: The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated withbiotin under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated biotinand unconjugated antibody.

Buffer: Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide.

Lagerung: The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4 degrees C. Do not freeze.
