Beschreibung: CD338, known as ABCG2 (BCRP1), is a multi-drug resistance (MDR) family protein that is a member of ATP bindingcassette (ABC) transporters. It is highly expressed on primitive &lsquo,sidepopulation&rsquo, (SP) stem cells. ThisSP phenotype is based on the efflux of fluorescent dyes such as Rhodamine 123 and Hoechst 33342. The SP cellsexpress low or undetectable levels of CD34. In the bone marrow, about 0.05% population of cells displays the lowfluorescence and are highly enriched for repopulating cells. The highest levels of BCRP1 mRNA expression havebeen seen in KDR+ human stem cells. The expression of ABCG2 appears to be highly conserved as it has beenidentified in various species.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescentstaining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, thesuggested use of this reagent is approx. 0.5 ug per 106 cells in 100 ul volume or100 ul of whole blood. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated foroptimal performance for each application.

Reinigung: The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated withAlexa Fluor 647 under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated Alexa Fluor 647.

Buffer: Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide and0.2% (w/v) BSA (origin USA).

Lagerung: The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4 degrees C and protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze.
