Beschreibung: EpCAM (CD326) mediates calcium-independent homophilic cell to cell adhesion. It may also function as a growthfactor receptor. It is though to be involved in maintaining cells in position during proliferation. Expression of EpCAMseems to correlate inversely with the level of E-cadherin (CD324). EpCAM is considered important in tumor biology.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescentstaining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, thesuggested use of this reagent is approx. 0.25 ug per 106 cells in 100 ul volume. It isrecommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for otherapplications. * Alexa Fluor

Reinigung: The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated withAlexa Fluor 488 under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated Alexa Fluor 488.

Buffer: Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide.

Lagerung: The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4 degrees C and protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze.
