Beschreibung
|
Recognizes a protein of 70kDa, identified as p70 subunit of Ku. The epitope of this antibody maps between amino acids 506-541 of p70. The Ku autoantigen is a heterodimer of 70kDa (p70) and ~80kDa (p80) proteins. The p70/p80 dimer is important for function of a 460kDa DNA-dependent protein kinase (DNA-PK) that phosphorylates certain transcription factors, including Sp1, Oct-1, p53, and SV40 large T antigen in vitro.

This antibody can be used for ELISA, immunofluorescence, Western blotting (0.25-0.5 ug/ml) and immunohistochemistry on frozen and formalin/paraffin sections (1-2 ug/ml). Positive Control: BT474, HeLa, human K562, HL-60, HEp-2, HeLa, Cos-1 cells.
