Spezifität: Activated leukocyte cell adhesion molecule (ALCAM; CD166) is a 105 kD cell -surface adhesion molecule belonging to the Ig superfamily of receptors. ALCAM is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein, possessing five extracellular Ig domains, a transmembrane domain, and a short cytoplasmic tail. ALCAM is involved in homotypic adhesion, as well as heterotypic adhesion with its natural ligand, CD6. A soluble isoform of ALCAM has been shown to inhibit homophilic adhesive interactions. ALCAM is expressed on a variety of cell types, including activated T and B cells, monocyte -derived dendritic cells, and thymic epithelial cells. Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: The eBioALC -48 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocyte suspensions. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.25 µg per million cells in a 100 µl total staining volume. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. This eBioALC -48 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis and immunohistochemistry on paraffin -embedded tissue sections.
