This gene belongs to the dimethylarginine dimethylaminohydrolase (DDAH) gene family.The encoded enzyme plays a role in nitric oxide generation by regulating cellularconcentrations of methylarginines, which in turn inhibit nitric oxide synthase activity. Alternate Names: anti-DDAH1 antibody, anti-dimethylarginine dimethylaminohydrolase 1 antibody,anti-DDAH antibody, anti-DDAHI antibody, anti-NG antibody, anti-NG-dimethylargininedimethylaminohydrolase antibody.
