Beschreibung: Blood group antigens are generally defined as molecules formed by sequential additionof saccharides to the carbohydrate side chains of lipids and proteins detected onerythrocytes and certain epithelial cells. The A, B and H antigens are reported toundergo modulation during malignant cellular transformation. Blood group relatedantigens represent a group of carbohydrate determinants carried on both glycolipids andglycoproteins. They are usually mucin type, and are detected on erythrocytes, certainepithelial cells, and in secretions of certain individuals. Sixteen genetically andbiosynthetically distinct but inter related specificities belong to this group of antigens,including A, B, H, Lewis A, Lewis B, Lewis X, Lewis Y, and precursor type 1 chainantigens.

Spezifität: This antibody recognizes human blood group B antigens. The specifity of the antibodyHEB-29 was confirmed by comparison of specifity and reactivity to standard reagentusing >5.000 samples of blood. Species Reactivity: Cross-reacts with Human. Not yet tested in other species.
