Beschreibung
CD90 (Thy1) antigen is a GPI linked glycoprotein member of the Immunoglobulinsuperfamily. It is expressed on murine T cells, thymocytes, neural cells, cells ofgranulocytic lineage, early hematopoietic progenitors, fibroblasts, neurons and Kupffer'scells. Thy1 may play a role in cell to cell or cell to ligand interactions duringsynaptogenesis and other events in the brain. It is found in most mouse strains exceptAKR/J, A, Thy1.1 and B6.PL (74NS) expressing Thy1.1. Alternate Names: anti-CD90 antibody, anti-CDw90 antibody, anti-FLJ33325 antibody, anti-Thy 1 cellsurface antigen antibody, anti-Thy 1 membrane glycoprotein precursor antibody,anti-Thy1 antigen antibody, anti-Thy1 T cell antigen antibody.

Spezifität
Recognizes the canine Thy-1 cell surface antigen, a 20-30kD glycoprotein expressed bymonocytes and T lymphocytes. The antibody has been reported to deplete T cells invivo, and to block Con A driven T cell proliferation in vitro. Species Reactivity: Reacts with Canine.
