Beschreibung CD90 (Thy1) antigen is a GPI linked glycoprotein member of the Immunoglobulinsuperfamily. It is expressed on murine T cells, thymocytes, neural cells, cells ofgranulocytic lineage, early hematopoietic progenitors, fibroblasts, neurons and Kupffer'scells. Thy1 may play a role in cell to cell or cell to ligand interactions duringsynaptogenesis and other events in the brain. It is found in most mouse strains exceptAKR/J, A, Thy1.1 and B6.PL (74NS) expressing Thy1.1. Spezifität Recognizes the murine Thy1.2 cell surface antigen, and binds to T cell lines (EL-4,3A9), T lymphocytes and the WEH1-3 cell line. 3T3 fibroblasts are also stained by thisantibody. This clone recognizes a 30kD glycoprotein in immunoprecipitation andWestern blotting assays. The antibody strongly induces homotypic adhesion of Thy1.2positive cell lines. Species Reactivity: Reacts with Mouse.
