Beschreibung
|
Ku80 is an 80 kD nuclear ATP-dependent DNA helicase. Ku80 is involved in dsDNAbreak repair, VDJ recombination, and chromosome translocation. This protein bindsfork-like ends of dsDNA in cell-cycle dependent manner. Ku80 can be modified byphosphorylation and has been shown to interact with Ku70 and DNA-PKcs. The F3monoclonal antibody recognizes human Ku80 and has been shown to be useful forWestern blotting and immunofluorescence staining. Alternate Names: anti-ATP-dependent DNA helicase II antibody, anti-Lupus Ku autoantigen proteinantibody.
