Beschreibung
|
Connective tissue consists of a ground of glycosaminoglycans, proteoglycans andglycoproteins through which various fibres run. These fibres can be collagenous, elasticor reticular. Reticular fibres are composed from the family of collagen proteins and givetensile strength. These fibres are made by reticular fibroblasts. This monoclonalantibody [ER-TR7] detects an antigen present in, and produced by, reticular fibroblasts.The antibody is useful to stain the microanatomy of various organs, in particular theconnective tissue framework in lymphoid organs. The antibody also stainssubendothelial deposits in the plaque area of atherosclerotic plaques.

Recognizes ER-TR7, an antigen that is located in the cytoplasm of reticular fibroblastsand is a component of the extracellular matrix of lymphoid and non-lymphoid organs.The antigen recognized by clone ER-TR7 has not been identified but studies suggestthat it is likely to be distinct from laminin, fibronectin, collagen types I-IV, heparinsulphate proteoglycan, entactin and nidogen. Clone ER-TR7 has been used to stain themicroanatomy of various organs and also stains subendothelial deposits inatherosclerotic plaques. Species Reactivity: Reacts with Mouse.
